Nicholas Wylde (Goldsmith) Ltd is an independent retail jewellers and manufacturing designer jewellers.

Nicholas trained at the prestigious Birmingham School of Jewellery and honed his skills in the workshops of local jewellers. He realised his dream of starting his own business in 1987, opening his first shop at 13 Northumberland Place, Bath, at the age of 24.

Nicholas designed and made jewellery while his sister Corrinda ran the shop. In 1995, needing to expand, Nicholas moved the shop next door to the larger premises at 12 Northumberland Place, where the business still is today. Nicholas Wylde celebrates its 19th anniversary this year.

The client base at Nicholas Wylde is varied, consisting of many local clients, clients who regularly travel from across the country to visit the shop and tourists to the city who buy pieces from the window on impulse.

Nicholas has made jewellery for many famous TV and sports personalities and even a member of the royal family!

Situated in the prettiest passageway in Bath city centre, the shop nestles amongst similar independent shops. The colourful, award-winning window displays at Nicholas Wylde add to the vibrancy of Northumberland Place and help make a visit to the passageway such a pleasure.
