Family Crests

If you know the provenance of your family name, we can find illustrations of your family crest, which can then be engraved onto precious metals or a wide variety of stones.

Jewellery decorated with family crests often date back many years.  At Nicholas Wylde we use one of the best crest engravers in the country.  We can help you find your crest which can then be traditionally engraved on items such as signet ring, cufflinks, gemstones etc.  If you are interested in a ring engraved with a crest then you will also be provided with a wax impression of the deep seal.  This can be used to reproduce the crest should you loose the ring or wish to engrave other items of jewellery.  Deep seal crests can also be engraved into stone set rings.
