OUR ETHICS
Nicholas Wylde promotes ethical business conduct by ensuring that all our materials originate from reliable mining companies committed to the highest standards of social and environmental responsibility. This is of high importance to us, ensuring that our jewellery creations are beautiful in every single way.
Diamond Sources
The Kimberley Process is joint governmental, industry and civil initiative designed to help stem the flow of conflict diamonds – rough diamonds used by rebel movements to finance wars against legitimate powers. . The trade in these illicit stones has fuelled decades of devastating conflicts in countries such as Angola, Cote d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Sierra Leone. The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) imposes extensive requirements on its members to enable them to certify shipments of rough diamonds as ‘conflict-free’. Nicholas Wylde fully supports this international association by sourcing all its gemstones including diamonds from reputable sources.

Gold Mining
Nicholas Wylde embraces the objectives of the “No Dirty Gold” campaign, which establishes standards for the extraction of gold that retail jewellers can use for responsible mining sources.
To fully maintain our responsibility in this objective we ensure all precious metals used by us is supplied by reputable organisations that also fully support these objectives. We fully support the international standards set to ensure materials we use derive from recognised, audited and approved mining sources.
Paper and packaging
