Wylde has over 20 staff working within the two shops based in Bath and Bristol – retail managers, sales consultants, goldsmiths, jewellery designers, window dressers, jewellery valuers, jewellery stockists, administration staff, account managers and media specialists.
We’re recognised to be one of the leading designer jewellers in the South West, specialising in stunning individual pieces of jewellery and providing a highly reputable standard of service.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Nicholas has worked with individuals who have approached him for work experience during their last few years at school.
Nicholas places the student within the workshop and teaches them the art of design and goldsmithing, resulting in the student taking home a piece of silver jewellery they have designed and made, hopefully learning teamwork and social skills at the same time.
Nicholas offers two placements every year but as this is popular a CV and interview is required.
Nicholas is proud to say that at least 6 students have made it their career.

Over the years Nicholas has worked with degree students wanting to highlight their subject within the beautiful jewellery trade. Whether the subject is photography, film, social media , design , or business studies, Nicholas is happy to be approached with an idea which could benefit both.

Although Nicholas Wylde does not offer goldsmithing apprenticeships he is happy to give advice on how and where you could follow this career.

Nicholas has several benches within the workshops and is happy to talk to anyone who would like to rent a bench for a period of time.
