TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1- The promoter is: whose registered office is at 12, Northumberland Place, Bath BA1 5AR .
2- The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of Nicholas Wylde Jewellers Ltd and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
3-Possible Total giveaway over the 7-day 35th Anniversary promotion is 35K
4-Promotions include two evening events and 5-day events in both stores: Evening events (6 pm to 9 pm Monday 12th Bath, Tuesday 13th Bristol) Day events (10:15 to 5:00 pm Tuesday 13th – Saturday 18th in both stores)
5- Entries during evening events are subject to RSVP.
6- Day event entries subject to purchase up £35 on the day
7- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control.
8- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
9- The possible prize are as follows: 16X0.35pt Wylde Flower Diamonds, 18X0.35ct black diamonds, 70Xsilver jewellery, 70Xchocolate boxes, 126X £35 voucher discount.
10- The 0.35pt Wylde flower diamond and the 0.35ct black diamond does not come set, they will be ordered and supplied in 5 weeks.
11- The £35 voucher can be redeemed when purchasing an item not discounted over £100. A sale, order or repair. ( not including pre-owned jewellery ) one- year expiry date. T he silver jewellery items are under the same code and the customer will have a ‘lucky dip’ to choose their item.
12-The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
13- The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
15- The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of .
16- The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the ent 17- Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
18- We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time so as to keep up to date with current matters including the Coronavirus pandemic and lockdowns.
1st Nov 2020 – 14th Dec 2020 Promotion: Free silver gift with every order/transaction.
Free Silver Gift with every order online or transaction in-store over the full RRP of £100.
Purchases of multiple items cannot be split to create more transactions for the purpose of multiple free gifts.
In-store client may be given opportunity to pick their own free gift from a selection of samples.
Clients who place online orders cannot choose their free gift and will be given one at the choice of the person packing their order.
A free item will also be given with discounted and clearance items over £100, but their value will not be upgraded to tier 2 when over £1000 as described below.
There are two tiers of free gifts. Tier 1 is for orders between £100 and £999 giving a free gift of lower cost silver item. Tier 2 is for £1000 and over for which clients will be gifted a free Wild Collection necklace including chain.
Once silver free items run out the promotion will end even if it is before the expirey date of the promotion.
Final decision on free items will be from the managers should there be any altercation.
We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time so as to keep up to date with current matter including the Coronavirus pandemic and lockdowns.
This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and must be taken against full price items only, nothing second hand or in the sale or clearance.
This promotion can not be used against commissions, repairs, wedding rings or any other item than a full price sale or pre-made products in-store.
Promotional period will run until further notice, approx. 30 days notice of withdrawal will be made of the discontinuation of the discounted collection via social media and/or the newsletter should that day arrive.
The price displayed in red is a non-negotiable price and include VAT.
Payments to be made of discounted items by credit cards, debit cards, cash, bank transfer or PayPal.
Purchases cannot be made using any insurance scheme or interest free transaction.
Clearance items are purchased as seen and there are no refunds or exchanges.
There is a 1 year manufacturers guarantee on discounted items but this does not cover general wear and tear.
Clearance items cannot be purchased in conjunction with any other promotion.
Any Clearance item with a purchase price over £1000 will come with a valuation.
Any item Clearance item that needs alteration will be charged for, for example ring sizing or chain length alterations.
Clearance items of jewellery will come in a box when it is over £100 or a pouch below £100.
The Branch Manager will have the final say in any Clearance purchase.
Clearance items are available to purchase in-store or online.
A Clearance item shown on the web may not be available to purchase if it’s already been sold in-store – we do endeavour to remove items from the website as soon as possible if no longer available.
If a Clearance item has been pre-sold in the store or via the web, it will not be available to purchase at the Clearance price in the future.
Manufacturers’ Five Year Guarantee
This guarantee is the foundation for a long lasting relationship with you, our customer. (We recommend that you bring your jewellery in at least once a year to be checked for signs of any wear and tear; so we can pre-empt any future problem occurring.)
All jewellery bought from Nicholas Wylde (not including pre-owned) carries a five year guarantee against manufacturing defects. Our jewellery is warranted as being suitable for the purpose for which it is designed under fair wear and tear. Our liability under this warranty will be limited to firstly repairing the item free of charge and if this is not possible, a replacement of the item of jewellery. Please be advised that our guarantee DOES NOT cover accidental damage, incidental damage, normal wear and tear, theft, accidental loss, or any damage that our manufacturing professionals deem is not due to craftsmanship related issues. If the piece has been altered in any way, our warranty no longer covers the item unless the alterations have been completed by Nicholas Wylde.
The five year warranty only covers the original owner of the piece and is not transferable.
Pre-owned Jewellery Guarantee
All pre-owned jewellery brought from Nicholas Wylde carries a 12 month guarantee. Please be advised that this guarantee DOES NOT cover accidental damage, incidental damage, further normal wear and tear, theft or accidental loss. If there is a problem with an item, we will carry out a free repair and then offer a further one year repair guarantee. See below for terms set out under our repair guarantee. The pre-owned jewellery guarantee only covers the original owner of the piece and is not transferable.
Caring for your jewellery
To help keep your jewellery in excellent condition we recommend that you have items cleaned by us (at least once a year). This will allow us to check for signs of wear and tear or any damage, and give advice should a repair be required so that more serious consequences can be avoided.
Using our repair service will ensure your jewellery is in safe hands and being cared for by our exceptional team of skilled craftsmen.
All our jewellery repairs are accompanied by a 12 month guarantee. Unless it has been agreed with the customer to carry out repair work on the understanding that no guarantee can be given after we have carried out the repair work.
The repair guarantee covers only the repair carried out on the item of jewellery as described on the receipt when taken in. Please be advised that this guarantee DOES NOT cover anything adjacent to the repair unless our manufacturing professionals deem it is due to craftsmanship related issues. If the item has been worked on other than by Nicholas Wylde over the 12 months, the guarantee becomes void.
The repair guarantee only covers the original owner of the piece and is not transferable.
Exchange, Credit note and Refunds*
On purchasing an item of jewellery from Nicholas Wylde and if the item is returned within 30 days of purchase showing no evidence of wear or tear, we will offer a full exchange or gift voucher/credit note for the full amount which will have no expiry date. We DO NOT offer a refund unless the item is deemed unfit to wear through a manufacturing fault or an item cannot be repaired.
*We do not offer an exchange, credit note or refund on any pre-owned items of jewellery.
All deposits that are placed with Nicholas Wylde are non-refundable. A deposit can be transferred to another item of jewellery or exchanged for a gift voucher that will have no expiry date.
Lifetime free cleaning
Any item purchased from Nicholas Wylde comes with a free lifetime cleaning service. We recommend you bring the item in (at least once a year) so we can make it gleam and sparkle as if new. This also allows us to check over the item for you. This service can normally be carried out while you wait or within an hour.
Any item purchased from Nicholas Wylde over £1,000 comes with a free valuation which includes a detailed description and photograph.
We offer a 25% discount off our normal valuation charge to revalue items purchased from us. We recommend revaluing items every three years and to carry out a revaluation, an item will need to be examined and supported by a copy of the last valuation.
If an piece of jewellery is purchased or commissioned between October 24th to December 25th and paid in full, providing the piece is brought back to us within 30 days, in the condition in which it was sold, we can exchange it or offer a gift voucher for the value, which has no time limit. We regret we cannot provide refunds unless the item is deemed unfit to wear through a manufacturing fault or an item cannot be repaired.
