Here’s a great example of how gemstones from loved but worn old rings can have new life breathed into them as they are set in strikingly modern new jewellery in designs according to clients’ wishes, which in this story involved five family members…

I hoped that he would be able to remodel it into a ring which I would find much more wearable. During our conversation I mentioned that I had four daughters and how I wished I could share the brooch between them. It was then that Nicholas suggested that he could make five rings out of the brooch and started designing an individual ring for each daughter as well as one for me.
I loved the idea and so did my girls when I told them what I was proposing. We all love our rings and the fact that we have all got a piece of a special item of jewellery which belonged to a much loved mother and grandmother.
I’m really pleased that I went to Nicholas with my brooch as he made the whole process enjoyable and he is a very talented designer. We were made to feel very special by all the staff at Nicholas Wylde and the workmanship is excellent.”
