The beautiful and unique Georgian city of Bath, known for its classic Palladian architecture and historic past, is where Nicholas Wylde originally begun his career as a world-renowned designer jeweller over 25 years ago and where his flagship store is situated today
A Unesco World Heritage site, Bath provides some of the finest shopping outside of London within its picturesque streets and romantic crescents, once walked by pleasure-seeking Georgians and, much further back in time, Roman soldiers who enjoyed the hot springs and first named the city Aqua Sulis in reverence to the Celtic god Sulis.
Today, Bath plays host to an increasing number of modern day tourists, attracted by the city’s elegant beauty, culture and its wealth of shops, restaurants, hotels and museums.
Our shop is nestled in the charming Northumberland Place which is situated in the city centre and very easy to locate. You can find us by first locating the Guildhall which is near Bath Abbey – the most prominent Bath landmark. Standing outside the Guildhall and looking over the road in front, you will see a passageway directly opposite (Café Nero is on the corner), enter this passageway and towards the end on the right you will find Nicholas Wylde Bath at number 12 Northumberland Place.
