A big thank you to all our kind customers who show their support

Lovely to receive this thank-you note from Jenny at People against Poverty.

We are writing to confirm receipt of and give many thanks for your donation of £141.50, from sales of the Expressions Collection. We really are so grateful all the effort and work that you and your team have put into this and we feel proud to be working with you. This money really will go a long way in supporting the work that we do in Romania, Haiti, Nepal and soon in the UK. We really do appreciate your support of our work and without the kindness of donors such as yourselves we simply could not continue to support to the impoverished and vulnerable families that we work with. As an example £141.50 is enough to support one child in our child sponsorship scheme with the basics in life; food, an education and medical care, for over 7 months!

As always, we have a lot going on; continuing our work in Romania through Child Sponsorship, a Medical Centre, Canteen, Legal Project, Social Classes as well as the new agricultural and livestock Project which will enable the community in the village of Unesti to feed themselves, provide the with an income and give them back some self-esteem. We are also looking to grow Starlight Centre out in Nepal so we can give more children in Kathmandu the basics in life; a hot meal, access to educational toys and lessons from trained teachers Krishna and Sita. What’s more in Haiti we are continuing to support the children of the St Josephs Crèche and Notre Maison Orphanages and we would love to raise enough funds to build a 2nd dormitory for the disabled children that live there, so the boys and girls can enjoy some privacy as they grow into young adults. To top it all off our UK Project Bridging the Gap is in full swing helping people living in poverty here in our own back garden!

So as you can see your money will be going to support work that has a huge impact, giving the communities we work with “a handshake, not a hand out” . Thank you again for all your support of our work.
