Covid – 19 Update up to 5th November 2020
We have reopened both stores and workshops by appointment only!
To all our lovely clients,
We have put many things in place to ensure your and our staff’s safety as we continue to follow government Covid-19 guidelines. For the foreseeable future we will be adapting to your needs on an appointment only basis to maintain a comfortable flow of clients. Please email or call us to arrange an appointment. If you wish to turn up ad hoc, our door person will arrange the next available appointment for you. Please also note that as of the 24th July 2020, masks are now mandatory in-store for visitors.
We have many clients who wish to come in and see us to collect commissions and repairs that have been put on hold during lockdown, and we have clients whose weddings, birthdays, anniversaries are imminent who need a Wylde creation in order to mark those special moments! You’ll be happy to learn our workshops and jewellery trade have been back open and running smoothly for a while now and that we are again delivering our reliable creative services as before.
We have introduced a range of measures to protect our clients and staff by introducing wash stations, discreet-as-possible counter and desk screens, provided face masks and we have carried out a Covid-19 risk assessment for both shops which are available below.
Be assured that staff will be cleaning all surfaces and washing their hands in between clients. Jewellery handled will be steam cleaned before being put back on display. You will also be asked to wash your own hands on entry and exit, and staff will show you to a designated desk so as to limit movement in-store. Please also note that during this time we will be discontinueing our ‘free clean and polish’ service for jewellery made at Wylde’s, until things are entirely back to normal. Each appointment will be limited to two clients but we will be encouraging single clients where possible too. We will be happy to offer a coffee voucher to a waiting partner or friend in these cases during the month of June.
We have greatly missed all our lovely clients and are very much looking forward to bringing back our friendly service and creative talents to you once more. Our full online mail-order service has also resumed and Nicholas will be continuing his successful Zoom consultations.
We are aware many clients are still being cautious, as they should be. We hope this information conveying our preparedness eases your mind for using our services. If you are unsure of anything we are still here for you and will adapt to your preferences where possible.
