It’s our Birthday!
Sustainable Silver Flower of Bristol
To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Wylde Bristol store this month, founder Nicholas Wylde has designed a small collection featuring the Flower of Bristol, otherwise known as lychnis chalcedonica, made from 100% sustainable sterling silver with 10% of its profits being donated to Bristol charity Tree Aid, in 2021, for the first year.
The symbol has been associated with the city and people of Bristol since 1600 when it’s hue would inspire the phrase “there be nonesuch like it” best summed up now as meaning “without equal” – just like Bristol itself! While Wylde has always strived to be 100% ethical and sustainable, this set is emblematic of the way Wylde will be continuing to progress and move forward from this point and blossoming out of lockdown following the covid-19 pandemic.
“What better way to show your love for the city of Bristol than to support this local independent jeweller after lockdown with a sustainable charity Bristol flower” available in two sizes of pendant and stud earrings!
