Rowley Douglas takes good care of his Olympic Gold Medal
At the age of 23 Rowley Douglas achieved the highest competitive honour in the Rowing world, winning Olympic Gold at the 2000 Sydney Games as Coxswain for the victorious British 8 man rowing team.
Almost twelve years ago, Nicholas was delighted to be able to provide Rowley with a special box to display his splendid medal of achievement. Rowley is now an Olympic Ambassador and is actively involved in the 2012 Games. Our team in Bath got the chance to admire his Gold medal when we were asked to polish and restore the medal to its original condition – gleaming brightly.
