January’s over and you’re back to work, coffee in hand, but what else is missing?
Perhaps a quartz dress ring will warm those January blues!
It’s a new year and time for a new outlook on life. Remember - It’s the little things, to appreciate the day, love the ones around you, and to learn to occasionally stop for a moment - perhaps to admire a new ring on your finger! Here are our top wake-up worthy quartz that make us want to get up early in the morning!:
Stones from the quartz family include citrine, amethyst, rock crystal, rutilated quartz, rose quartz and smokey quartz. Find these glittering rings and so much more at our Bath & Bristol stores this January.

Absolutely gorgeous, if we do say so ourselves! Read more.

Stolen Treasures

Sometimes a traumatic event will lead us to re-make stolen items. We recently helped one client work through the emotional process of replacing her beloved jewellery. She very kindly sent us in this letter as a recommendation for our services. “Nicholas Wylde’s help in the aftermath of our burglary was such an enormous relief. His advice and kind offer...” Read more.

A Lifetime of Love

This is a commission like no other. A terribly moving tribute to a loving husband who was taken far too soon. A story that will remind us all to treasure every moment.
“Nicholas was so kind, understand and patient. He designed the most beautiful locket, [with multiple interlocking frames and a hidden compartment] fulfilling all and more than I could have wished for.”

Rejuvenating Repair

Our client Jane came to us this month to rejuvenate her tiny little butterfly pendant. It was dull in colour and missing a wing on one side. Reset with a specially cut piece of opal this butterfly would find a new lease of life for the new year! Our client was over the moon on collection and commented - “The staff were able to track down exactly what was required…” Read customer comment.

A Beary Good Auction

Nicholas donated a 9ct diamond-set bear necklace that was auctioned for nearly £1000 at Bear Wood’s charity gala last month! Bear Wood is an exciting new development due to open this summer. The exhibit will transport you back in time, via a woodland walkway at Bristol’s Wild Place, to when it was inhabited by European brown bears! Learn more.
