Client Story:
Welcoming another client into the Wylde Flower Diamond®  family!

It’s always a wonderful thing to welcome a client into our ‘Wylde Flower Diamond ® family – now approaching over 45 members and growing weekly!

Ayleen commented: “What a pleasure it was to meet you and some of your staff recently. The outcome of which is the most exquisite ring imaginable. Those weeks ago, when Paul surprised me with a visit to your store, I would not have believed anyone could have created something so perfect for us.

Thank you for being part of our journey. We met three years ago, both widowed and now
wanting to celebrate our relationship with a significant ring of commitment. What you have created is unique. Having shown me some rings that Paul had picked out on a previous visit, you listened to my love of sapphires and emeralds and transformed them with one of your Wylde Flower Diamond®s into a ring of such beauty that warms my heart and makes me smile each day.

You are a very talented man and you have a great team behind you. The whole experience from first entering your store and being greeted by your knowledgeable well trained and friendly staff was one to be applauded. The champagne was a lovely touch to enhance the celebratory nature of the occasion.”

Make an appointment to discuss your requirements with one of our friendly and knowledgeable jewellery designers, to see how we could make your dreams a reality today!

Over in Bristol:
Always the best advice…

One of the great aspects of our work is offering sound advice to those that require it, as this following tale from our Clifton branch demonstrates….

Tim wrote to us: “Having made the decision to search for an engagement ring, I walked into the Nicholas Wylde branch in Clifton having no idea of the process or what I wanted. The staff there was amazing. A smile and detailed knowledge guided me through the selection process with great care and the stress of waiting and planning for the event was minimised through clear communication and understanding. I cannot thank Brano, Lynne and the rest of the team enough.

To top it all, they have produced an incredible ring which both my new fiancé Rebecca and I cannot stop staring at!

We are always happy to advise where needed and make sure the client receives exactly what they desire!

Don’t forget that we have two dedicated parking spaces for clients at our Clifton store. You’ll need to phone ahead before your visit to book a space, but you’ll be able to enjoy the Clifton shopping experience (and perhaps even a visit to the world-famous Suspension Bridge which is very close to our store).

Eternity rings:
Famous & reasons for giving
The concept of an eternity ring dates back approx. 4,000 years to Egyptian times when they were used simply as a token of both eternal love and life.

Early examples were a circle of metal, precious or otherwise, set with stones either on the top half of the ring or running the entire circumference of the ring. Some early examples were also designed to mimic the image of a snake devouring its own tail, a common symbol used to represent eternity, often referred to as the ‘ouroboros’.
When to Give or Receive an Eternity Ring

Traditionally presented after a couple has already been married, they can be given as a gift to commemorate a milestone wedding anniversary or to celebrate the welcoming of a new child or children into the family
.
Unlike the early intentions of eternity rings, today they are usually given to specifically mark a milestone anniversary.

Of course, not all eternity rings are tied to the marriage itself as another meaning of the ring is to represent the eternal circle of life.

Because of this, an eternity ring is often given to a wife or new mother by her significant other after their first child is born or welcomed into the family.

The Circle of Life – Eternity Ring for the Birth of the First Child

Only in recent years did the original symbolism of the eternity ring as a representation of the circle of life resurface which is when the welcoming of a couple’s first child into the world, by birth or adoption, became another tradition in which the gift of an eternity ring was deemed appropriate.
Which Finger to Wear the Eternity Ring On

The eternity ring can be worn on the ring finger of the left hand, or if you already have a wedding ring and an engagement ring it can be worn on the equivalent finger on the right hand.
