A bespoke 70s style ring in 18ct yellow gold created as a replacement for a long lost and deeply loved engagement ring. The 0.31ct central princess cut diamond is surrounded by twelve round blue sapphire weighing 0.40ct in total. The warm 18ct yellow gold shank featured a criss-cross detailing with catches the light beautifully, adding texture to the otherwise plain polished gold. The wide flat section band splits towards the head of the ring to create a gap allowing light to the stones accentuating the five claws visible from on either side. A simple yet effective detail appears in the setting of the central stone, where the claws are yellow and white gold, and interspersed evenly. A fabulous vintage-style piece exhibiting fantastic attention to detail.
