Last year was our 30th anniversary and we organised many promotional campaigns in celebration of that fact. The most ambitious of them all was our huge Wylde Treasure Hunt, with its stunning £10,000 prize package, innovative inclusion of many other indie traders aiding co-promotion and its visual spectacle of seven unique handmade jewelled treasures hidden around Bath for entrants to seek out.
We’re proud to announce that our Treasure Hunt has been shortlisted in the prestigious Retail Jeweller UK Jewellery Awards in the ‘Best Marketing Campaign’ category.
The awards will take place at The Artillery Garden, London EC1 on July 4th in a unique venue that combines beautiful surroundings with the perfect after dinner entertainment – a funfair!
These awards are reflective of how the jewellery industry recognises and rewards its members, highlighting the best successes in all fields.
It’s a wonderful achievement and accolade to be short-listed; of course, we won’t know who the winners are until the awards ceremony in July but you can be sure we’ll be keeping everything crossed until then!
It won’t be the first time we’ve featured in these important awards: In 1998 we beat Mappin & Web and Links of London to win ‘Best Retail Image’ and in 2003 our innovative ‘Gifts for You’ campaign saw us as a runner-up in the ‘Best E-commerce site’ category where our website was highly praised for its look and ease of use.
The scope and wide-reaching breadth of our Treasure Hunt was hugely ambitious and we’re so pleased that the campaign has been recognised for its many merits!
