A gorgeous 18ct rose gold and platinum, open art-deco inspired, diamond and blue sapphire engagement ring made using stones from our client’s previous engagement ring. The central blue sapphire is set in the centre of it’s multi-diamond cluster in four claws. The four pear cut diamonds, spaced evenly within the sapphire’s surrounding diamond frame add a subtle yet incredibly effective addition to what would otherwise be a traditional brilliant cut cluster. The collet, made in platinum, features further detailing with it’s repeated, delicate infinity symbols to it’s sides. The collet then meets the polished 18ct rose gold shank where it splits to join with the outer pear cut diamond’s three claw settings. A beautiful piece demonstrating the stunning impact that subtle and measured detail changes can make to an old engagement ring.
